LaFonte is a utility program to create 3D text and save it into a 3D file. 3D text can be created with any installed Windows TrueType fonts including 2-byte fonts. This means 3D text in Chinese, Japanese or Korean can be created. 3D text features include bevels, size, ratio, italic and extrusion. With Move, Scale and Rotate features you can make a close inspection of the shape of your 3D text. 3D text informations can be saved into 3D files in popular formats like Autodesk .3ds, Wavefront .obj, VRML 2.0 .wrl, and Open Inventor .iv. LaFonte is a useful tool for 3D designers who want to quickly and easily create a 3D title or add 3D text into a 3D scene. LaFonte will also be a handy tool just for creating 3D text, where full featured 3D programs are too expensive and heavy.
