dtNotes is a small, fast utility for easy creation of virtual post-it notes to 'stick' on your computer's desktop. The program features an easy-to-use system of sound and visual alarms and can be used to remind you of meetings, important events, your friends' and colleagues' birthdays and so on. You can also use it as a handy organizer, to-do list or just to write down some quick thoughts. The notes headers can display the current date and time enabling you to use dtNotes as a replacement of the standard Windows system clock. The program is extremely user friendly, you won't even need to read any manual to understand how it works. You can place the notes anywhere on your desktop, set an individual sound and visual alarm on every note, enable the notes transparency (only under Windows 2000 and XP), change their size and color - all that with just a few mouse clicks. You can set up the program to run automatically on Windows startup and bring all notes up or hide them with just two mouse clicks. Other program features include the ability to automatically paste text from the clipboard to the newly created notes, a handy System Tray menu, ability to pin up any individual note on top of all other windows, customizable hotkeys and more. dtNotes is designed for Windows 98/ME and NT, but some features (such as notes transparency) are available when running on Windows 2000/XP only.
